Ensure that this creative work, is accurate, error-free, on time and on budget and to the very highest quality standards. Reporting to Senior Art Director the responsibilities include.

With a copywriting partner, to originate innovative creative ideas and conceptual marketing solutions across all media to include: direct mail, press, TV, digital and e-marketing to a brief.

To produce design and artwork in the most effective way possible.

To provide detailed and accurate production specifications for each element of your design work consistent creative approach; ensuring copy and design are produced as one.

To ensure you maintain an innovative approach to creative work.

To ensure you are aware of the latest market trends in design, marketing and digital developments.

To ensure that design is produced in a way that makes the end product as cost effective as possible.

To support other team members as required.

Excellent Mac skills in all main design programmes including QuarkXPress, Photoshop and Illustrator. Dreamweaver and Flash and other web and digital programmes would be a distinct advantage.

Experience of direct marketing, particularly direct mail and press.

Ability to plan formats, design response mechanisms, and think about how a campaign fits together, and how it will be consumed by the audience.

Strategic thinking.
