A good web designer is he/she who:
• Creates design which attracts visitors to read websites
• Understands the relationship between design and content in the website
• Creates design that sells and does not drive away visitors
• Knows the importance of internet marketing
• Who understands visitor behavior on a website

– Customization experience with various CMS is a must (WordPress, Joomla…)
– Customization experience with various E-commerce shopping cart is a must(Zen Cart ,Os-commerce)
– Knowledge basic of php/html/css is a must.
– Well-versed in Design and Web authoring tools:

Photoshop CS 4/5
Adobe Illustrator
InDesign
Flash

– Web development language PHP and SQL databases will be an added advantage.
– Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of all design principles (typography, colour, layout,motion etc…)
– Must have a portfolio.
